Auction FAQ's
Collect Your Winnings
Items which can be reasonably sent by post will be mailed to the winning bidder, unless otherwise indicated. For larger items currently being held at the Lafayette Library Foundation office, please email [email protected] to arrange for pick up during business hours.
*All winning bids are final and binding. There will be no exchanges, alterations or refunds on items. Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash. All items are "as is." Please note any restrictions stipulated by the item donor. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of values for tax purposes.
Auction Policy
Please note the following:
- All sales are final. There will be no refunds, exchanges, or modifications. Merchandise is sold "as-is". Neither the donor nor the LLLCF can provide a guarantee for any item. The LLLCF is not responsible for any restrictions inadvertently omitted or not originally indicated by the donor.
- Reservations for trips, parties, use of facilities, etc. must be mutually agreed upon with donor unless otherwise specified. Please note holiday blackout periods and other restrictions carefully before bidding.
- Due to the unusual circumstances of state and local shelter-in-place orders and other COVID-19 related restrictions, it is possible that certain events may be postponed or cancelled. If this happens, we encourage purchasers to work with donors to make alternative arrangements but cannot guarantee that such accommodations will be possible.
- Moveable Feasts delivered within 15 miles of the Lafayette Library.
- Silent Auction winners - we will mail certificates to winners the week of June 1. If we can not mail, we will reach out out to you for pick up options.
